Repeater

Terms of Service

Effective date: May 5, 2026

These terms cover Repeater-specific purchase behavior, study disclaimers, and responsible use.

Relationship to Apple Standard EULA

Repeater uses Apple's standard End User License Agreement for App Store distribution unless App Store Connect later states otherwise. These Repeater terms supplement the Atlas Peak Media Terms of Service for product-specific purchases, study data, and disclaimers.

Purchases and Unlocks

Repeater offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase through Apple's App Store: the Full Unlock at $9.99. This unlock grants lifetime access to the full Technician, General, and Extra-class question pools, fundamentals, lessons, operator guides, audio scripts, and Station Log for the original purchasing Apple ID.

Purchases, refunds, billing questions, and restore-purchase flows are handled by Apple. Atlas Peak Media does not receive your payment card information.

Repeater does not offer subscriptions. There is no auto-renewal, no trial period, and no recurring billing.

Free Tier Scope

Without the Full Unlock, Repeater provides a free teaser: Technician fundamentals, a sample of flashcards, and one full-length practice exam. The teaser is enough to evaluate the study experience before unlocking the full content.

The free tier does not include General-class or Extra-class question pools, the full lesson library, the Operate guides library, audio narration scripts beyond the teaser set, or Station Log access beyond the demo state.

Study Disclaimer

Repeater is informational study software for the FCC Amateur Radio license exams. It is not produced, endorsed, or licensed by the FCC, the National Conference of Volunteer Examiner Coordinators (NCVEC), the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), or any Volunteer Examiner Coordinator.

Repeater does not deliver, proctor, or grade real FCC exams. Only the FCC and accredited Volunteer Examiner Coordinators administer Amateur Radio examinations and issue licenses. Practice exam scores in Repeater are estimates intended for self-assessment.

Performance on Repeater does not guarantee a pass on the live exam. Verify all study material against the current published NCVEC pool effective for your exam date and consult the FCC Part 97 rules at wireless.fcc.gov for current operating privileges.

Content and Model Limitations

Question pools are sourced from the public-domain releases published by NCVEC. Repeater bundles the active pool effective on or before your exam date. When NCVEC publishes a new pool with an effective date, Repeater rotates pools so the active set always matches the live exam.

Written explanations, fundamentals articles, lessons, operator guides, and audio narration scripts are original work by Atlas Peak Media and may not reflect every nuance of FCC Part 97 or current accepted operating practice. Verify operating procedures against current ARRL guidance and FCC rules.

FSRS spaced-repetition scheduling is a memory-management tool. Mastery indicators, readiness gauges, and pace recommendations are decision aids, not guarantees of pass-rate.

Audio narration uses on-device Apple AVSpeechSynthesizer voices, not human-recorded audio.

Acceptable Use

Do not redistribute, scrape, or republish Repeater fundamentals articles, lesson text, operator guides, audio scripts, or original explanations. NCVEC question pools themselves are public-domain.

Do not attempt to bypass StoreKit purchases, jailbreak entitlement checks, or use Repeater in a way that violates Apple's Developer Program License Agreement or applicable law.

Do not use Repeater to misrepresent practice scores, mock exam attempts, or in-app progress as official FCC examination results.

Use the Station Log responsibly. Repeater does not verify the accuracy of contacts you enter and does not transmit Station Log data to any third party or cloud service.
