Include the app version, device model, iOS version, the language you were studying, and a short description of the issue.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Lexica, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Lexica asks Apple to refresh your Premium subscription and any vocabulary packs tied to your Apple ID.
What does Premium include, and what does it cost?
Premium is $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year. It adds every language and every word (at least 5,000 per language), writing practice for the whole script, a natural voice streamed past word 500 while you are online, and sharper pronunciation scoring by server transcription.
How do I cancel Premium?
Premium renews automatically until you cancel. Open the Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Lexica, and cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
What does the free tier include?
One language at a time with its first 500 words, a natural voice for each of those words and its example sentence (100 built in, the other 400 downloadable for offline study), writing practice for the first 100 characters, and pronunciation scoring on your device.
What is FSRS?
FSRS (Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler) is a flashcard scheduling method that adapts review intervals to how difficult each card is for you. Words you struggle with come back sooner, and words you know space out further.
Which languages and scripts does Lexica support?
Lexica covers 37 languages with more than 190,000 ranked words. Writing practice is available for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Russian, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Thai and more. Latin and Palauan are text only, with no voice.
What are the vocabulary packs?
Four packs are one-time purchases from $1.99 to $2.99: Military & Defense, Medical & Healthcare, Legal, and Business & Finance. Each adds focused vocabulary where it is available for your language.
What are the passport, the Atlas and mementos?
Your studying earns XP. Stamp the countries whose words you are learning on the Atlas, and spend XP on mementos from each place, each with a short story and its words. Nothing in the passport can be bought with money.
Does Lexica require an account?
No. Lexica does not require an Atlas Peak Media account. Your study data lives on your device and, if iCloud is on, in your own iCloud, and your purchases are tied to your Apple ID.
How does the audio work, and what data is sent?
The first 100 words of each language play from the app. Downloading the next 400 fetches a file from our storage host with no account or study data. Free pronunciation scoring runs on your device. For Premium subscribers, words past 500 and pronunciation checks are sent through the Lexica audio service to ElevenLabs, only to answer that request. Lexica asks before it sends your first recording, and you can change that in Settings.
How does iCloud sync work?
When iCloud is on for your devices, Lexica keeps your study data in your private iCloud account so it can sync between your iPhone and iPad. If it is not updating, confirm iCloud is on for Lexica in Settings.
How do I reset my progress or delete data?
Reset progress in Lexica's Settings, or delete the app to remove its data from your device. To remove synced data, manage Lexica in your iCloud settings.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@atlaspeakmedia.com with your device model, iOS version, Lexica version, the language you were studying, what you expected, what happened, and any screenshots that help.
